Check an IP address to for proper DNS (Domain Name Service) configuration. Many mail delivery problems are the result of incorrect DNS configuration (it's amazing how many ISPs haven't passed DNS 101).
This checks the Reverse DNS (rDNS) which maps the IP address to a host name, and that the host name returned by rDNS has the same IP address entered.
